The Speyside Aypple Aperitif is a 20% abv apple liqueur made from a combination of young apple brandy and apple juice. After blending, it is recasked for a short time to allow the flavours to settle and marry naturally.
Light, fresh, and gently aromatic, it works well as an apéritif, mixed with sparkling wine as a simple welcome drink, or used as a base for cocktails. It also pairs naturally with cheese, particularly soft Scottish brie or mature, nutty cheddars. Often described as apple’s answer to tawny port, it offers a familiar warmth with a distinctly Speyside character.
Like all Speyside Aypple products, it is made using local fruit and a straightforward approach, focusing on flavour, balance, and a quiet sense of place.
